Indefinite Hiatus* Announcement

If you came here from my Twitter, AO3 or (other) Carrd, you probably know that I haven't been active for quite a few months. Some of you might also know that I've been in ill health and have been dealing with some personal problems since the beginning of 2023. While I couldn't write this all in a TwitLonger, I'll do my best to break down what will be happening to me, my fics, and my involvement in fandom.For those of you who don't want to read the minutiea, however:
tl;dr - I'll be taking an indefinite hiatus from almost everything fandom-related (including events, zines, commissions, social media engagement, and publishing fics)*The hiatus doesn't apply to any spontaneously created works. If they come, they'll come.
Fandom Matters
➼ All commissioners have been contacted and refunded accordingly. If you haven't been contacted, please contact me via Twitter or Discord (@ tianwuchang).➼ I will try to prioritise unfulfilled giveaways and podfic requests, but I cannot promise a concrete completion date.➼ I have withdrawn from all exchanges, bangs and zines where I have not completed my piece(s). This includes: Pirate Bakugou Zine, Accursed Machinations (JJK Villains) Zine, Origin of Fear (JJK Horror) Zine➼ I am, however, still affiliated with zines where I have completed my piece(s) or am moderating. This includes: Creep (Problematic Deku), First Blood (Zen'in Clan) and Forsaken (TojiGumi)➼ I will not be participating in future fandom events until further notice, beyond one prior commitment.
Writing Status
I haven't written fic in months. In short, you could say I've got severe writing block. Whether I update a multichaptered fic, add to an incomplete series, complete a WIP or push out something new is something I can neither predict nor promise.Please don't ask for an update to [insert name here] - I will reply politely the first time and then block you if it happens again. They will be updated as inspiration strikes, assuming it does.As for RPs... you're welcome to ask, and I may even respond positively, but don't expect consistent replies. I will also block anyone who repeatedly asks for replies or updates.
Personal Update
Without going into too much detail:➼ I have ongoing health problems that went downhill once I was hospitalised for partially unrelated matters in March. Then I caught Covid (again) in April. Long Covid is awful.➼ I wasn't the only person in my family who caught Covid, and I'm not the only person in my family going through problems.➼ Finding employment is difficult when you're constantly ill and your degree doesn't have much in the way of employability. Online courses, by the way, are also awful on poor health.I'm not asking for sympathy or pity, but I do hope that this will suffice for those who want some sort of explanation as to why I've been so sedentary in 2023.

I may not reply consistently or even frequently, but I will do my best to keep in contact with those who reach out.I'm sorry to everyone who has been waiting for updates or couldn't contact me. I hope I can be more active in fandom when my health and personal problems have improved, but until then - thank you to everyone who's supported me over the years (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡
